The Secret To Business Owners Being Successful In The New COVID World?

Being in business as an entrepreneur can be a tough gig some days…

Some days you’ll win, and some days you’ll lose

I have been an entrepreneur, business owner for over 20 years, and I know what it’s like and how to drill down into how to prepare your mindset for being a business owner and what it takes to focus and move forward!

It’s not easy and not for the faint of heart, but it’s gratifying when you see the fruits of your efforts. One of the biggest mistakes I see many entrepreneurs and small businesses make is they try and do everything themselves and don’t invest in people or technology to help them grow. We have all heard the statistics that most businesses don’t make it past the first year, and if they do, they often don’t survive past five years due to complete burn out from working insane hours.

Establishing business systems up for success in the beginning or at any point will ensure you grow your business and make money. As Zig Ziglar famously said, “Money isn’t everything ….but it ranks right up there with oxygen.”

So, in case you find yourself consumed with continually thinking of ways to get clients, how to increase sales or why your business isn’t where you want it to be, there is hope. All entrepreneurs and business owners at one time or another have felt terrible and been consumed with fear or worry! But there is no time to worry or complain or even get angry.

It’s time to get moving. To take massive action and generate sales.

There are many ways to get in front of clients and potential clients to learn about you and what services and products can do for them. We have all had some sort of marketing campaigns, that consisted of direct and indirect sales. Successful companies have been and continue to use more than one; LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Email. I’m not suggesting you need to use them all however I am suggesting you do more than what you have done in the past and do some research to determine where your ideal clients spend most of their time and start there.

Once you identify which one it is, such as LinkedIn you should include an email campaign at the same time along with you direct sales team outreach. the phone is still a very powerful and acceptable means of getting in touch with your current and potential clients. If your not doubling up on your sales efforts and generating client interest in your products or services your competitors are!
